What's New on EFE'S Web Site

If you haven't visited Equip for Equality's Web site recently, you might want to check out the many new sources of information, as well as our continually improving format and design.

Employment Rights Fact Sheet

Get tips about how to fill out a job application - what a potential employer cannot ask in an interview and how to answer if illegal questions are asked, as well as what to do about physical or mental health examinations and how to request an accommodation. Sample letters are included on the page, as well as links to more information from the Job Accommodation Network.

What's New in Guardianship Reform

A national journal, State Initiatives in End-of-Life Care, featured an interesting article about the Illinois Guardianship Reform Project in March 2002.

Accessible Transportation Update

This frequently updated section on the public transportation page features updates on CTA bus and train accessibility, including a new Yahoo! Group for e-mail updates - plus other transportation information.

Illinois Legislative Summary and Analysis

The Legislative Summary and Analysis reports on bills from the Illinois 92nd General Assembly that have a direct impact on people with disabilities.
