How we gather information from users

Financial and banking information as disclosed on checks and faxes containing charge card type, number, expiration date, and signature is deemed confidential and is not disclosed to others except as noted below. Faxes containing charge card information are destroyed as soon as payment has been verified.
Please note that in order to process checks and charge card donations, your check or charge card information is submitted to the appropriate banks and credit card companies for processing of your donation.
Credit card transactions through this EFE site are processed and verified by VeriSign. Your credit card number and billing information is provided to VeriSign and your banking or credit institution.
