How to Request Services

General Intake: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (We accept limited calls on Tuesday and Thursday from individuals in institutions --usually calls of an emergent nature only)

Intake Process

Callers seeking assistance from Equip for Equality should contact the Equip for Equality office in their region. For contact information and to find the office nearest to you, go to the Locations & Contact Info page.

Callers will be asked to provide some demographic information, a summary of their specific request for services, and other intake related questions. Each request for service is subsequently discussed with Equip for Equality's legal team, which meets once per week, to determine if we are able to provide the request for services or assist the caller in some other way. If Equip for Equality is unable to assist the caller, the caller will be provided with information and referrals to other appropriate organizations.
