TBI Advisory Council

At Equip for Equality, we promote the rights of people with traumatic brain injury (TBI) by offering legal advocacy and educational services through our TBI Project.  To assess and understand the legal and advocacy needs of the Illinois TBI community, our staff meets quarterly with our TBI Advisory Council.

Join the TBI Advisory Council

We meet four times per year with our Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Advisory Council.  Our TBI Advisory Council is composed of people with TBI, family members and service providers. The council assists us by:

  • Providing insight into the needs of the Illinois TBI community
  • Coordinating educational and outreach services
  • Identifying TBI-related public policy reform initiatives
  • Developing strategies to achieve systemic changes

If you are interested in applying to join the TBI Advisory Council, please complete our online form.
