Voting Access Chicago is an initiative of Equip for Equality, Illinois’ leading disability rights advocacy organization, in partnership with the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners and some of Chicago’s leading corporations, law firms, law schools, and others.

Our goal is simple: ensure that Chicago’s 460,000 older adults and people with disabilities are able to vote at their local polling places — like everyone else! This project will make the promise of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Help America Vote Act a reality by ensuring everyone can vote privately and independently. Together we can make a difference!
