An Urgent Message From EFE’s President Regarding COVID-19

Dear Friends,

We care deeply about the health and safety of our clients, staff and community. In light of the ongoing concerns about COVID-19 and Governor Pritzker and Mayor Lightfoot urging companies to have staff work from home, our offices will be closed beginning on Tuesday, March 17. We will notify you when our offices re-open.

While our offices will be closed, Equip for Equality will continue to operate and clients will be served. Many courts are postponing hearings and taking other steps to enable them to focus on emergency situations only. If you have a case with Equip for Equality that involves a court hearing, your attorney is staying on top of these developments.

We are responding to all of our office e-mails and phone messages, including those left on the Special Education Rights and Employment Rights Helplines, by staff working remotely during this time.

If you have any questions about our COVID-19 response policy or how it may affect services, please reach out to us via phone (Toll Free 800-537-2632) or email (contactus@equipforequality.org).

Thank you,
Zena Naiditch
President & CEO
Equip for Equality
