“Invisible” Disabilities and the ADA Webinar – July 12, 2023

The Great Lakes ADA Center will be hosting a free legal webinar called “Invisible” Disabilities and the ADA on Wednesday July 12 from 1-2:30 PM CDT. Equip for Equality Managing Attorney Rachel Weisberg, Senior Attorney Paul Mollica and VP Barry C. Taylor will be the presenters for this session.

Here’s a description of the session: When someone has a non-apparent disability, such as diabetes, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, asthma, mental illness or HIV/AIDS, it frequently can raise unique issues for both the employer and the employee. This session will review the legal issues, EEOC guidance and court decisions when “invisible” disabilities are at issue, including pre-employment inquiries and medical examinations, workplace disclosure, reasonable accommodations and confidentiality.

This session is eligible for 1.5 hours of Continuing Legal Education credit.
