Mayor Emanuel launched a Task Force on Employment & Economic Opportunity for people with disabilities, and Equip for Equality served on the Task Force. On February 27, 2019, the final recommendations of the Task Force were issued. Links to the report and the press release are below. Note that the report has numerous pictures of people with disabilities at work, including Equip for Equality Attorneys Andrew Webb and Rachel Arfa (pages 11, 13 and 16). MOPD has committed to reconvening the Task Force annually for the next 5 years to report on its progress on implementing the recommendations.
